Prep time 10 minutes
Cook time 20 minutes
Tools:
Ramekins, trivet, Instant Pot
For the pudding:
8 slices white bread
¾ cup cream
2 Tablespoon cocoa
1 Teaspoon vanilla
3 Tablespoon sugar
½ cup chocolate drops
For the sauce:
½ cup cream
100g milk chocolate chopped
For the pudding, remove crusts off the white bread, then cut the bread into squares so that you get 9 squares per slice. In a separate bowl, combine the cream, cocoa, vanilla, sugar, mix until dissolved to form a custard sauce. Place half of the squares of bread into a large ramekin, and the other half into another large ramekin, pour the custard sauce over the bread to cover, stud with chocolate chips. Then repeat until ramekin is full. Pour 1 cup of water in the inner pot and place the trivet inside. Place the ramekins onto of the trivet, set to Pressure Cook for 13 minutes. When complete, do a Quick Release, and using silicone mits or gloves, remove carefully from the inner pot (beware it will be hot). Pour out the water and dry the inner pot, then add the chocolate sauce ingredients and set to Sauté mode on Less. Mix quickly then pour the chocolate sauce over the bread pudding and serve.
