Super Easy Weeknight Dinner - Dump & Go Pasta! A versatile recipe made in the new Instant Pot WhisperQuiet - meaning less dishes to wash up!
Ingredients
1 Jar of Store bought Pasta sauce
250ml of Chicken Stock
125ml Water
3 Cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp Italian herbs
½ tsp Chilli flakes
250g Penne pasta
125ml Cream
Grated Mozarella cheese (to garnish)
Fresh Parsley, chopped (to garnish)
Instructions
In the Instant Pot Whisper Quiet, add the pasta sauce, chicken stock, water, garlic, seasoning and pasta.
Place the lid on top and then press Pressure cook. Using the dial, scroll to Pasta and press the dial to select it.
When the timer option appears, use the dial to set the time to 5 minutes. Press the dial to set the time.
The pressure setting will appear, using the dial set it to high. Then press start. After 5 minutes, the Instant Pot will then alert you that it is ready. Open the steam valve.
Once the steam has been released, remove the lid. Pour in the cream and stir. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and then replace the lid back on top for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
Tips
Depending on the pasta you use, you may have to pressure cook it for a bit longer. If after 5 minutes the pasta is not to your preferred texture, pressure cook it again for another 2 minutes.
You can also add protein to this by sauteing your protein first, and then adding everything else.
