Are you in the mood for the perfect poached egg, one made without mess, fuss, and NO messing about with simmering whirlpools of water? If so, start taking notes - this is going to be your go-to poached egg method from here on out!
To make these perfect poached eggs, you will rack your eggs into greased heatproof ramekins or non-stick pudding moulds, pour in a few millilitres of water and pop the moulds into the Instant Vortex. Et voila! Perfectly set, jammy or runny poached eggs every. Single. Time. Breakfast is on.
Ingredients:

Oil
Equipment:
Pyrex ramekins/non-stick metal pudding moulds
Grease your moulds with a bit of oil or non-stick cooking spray. Fill the moulds about half full with boiling water, and then crack an egg into each mould of water and place into the air frying basket.
Select Air Fry and set the temperature to 182C and timing depending on egg equipment used.
If using pyrex ramekins:
Cook the eggs for 7 minutes for runny, 8 minutes for jammy, and 10 for set yolks.
If using non-stick pudding moulds:
Cook the eggs for 5 minutes for runny, 6 minutes for jammy, and 7 for set yolks.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
As eggs and ramekins will vary in size, these timings about are our tested guidelines. You may need to slightly adjust the cook time for your perfect egg! For your first go start on the lower end of the timings. You can always cook the egg for a little longer.
