Chakalaka ingredients:
1 tablespoon coconut oil
4 large, grated carrots
1½ fresh chillies (Sliced)
1 chopped onion
2 chopped garlic heads
½ chopped red pepper
½ chopped yellow pepper
½ chopped green pepper
1 can baked beans
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tablespoon chicken spice
1 chicken stock cube
Method:
Set the Instant pot on sauté mode.
Heat oil, add onions, garlic and chillies and sauté until the onions are translucent. Then add the red, green, and yellow pepper and sauté for about 3 minutes.
Add chicken stock cube, paprika, salt, pepper and stir. Then add grated carrots, chicken spice and mix well. Let it cook for about 10 minutes then add baked beans, stir for about a minute and then turn off the instant pot and let it cool.
Meat ingredients:
1½kg lamb chops
2 tablespoons lamb rub
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
4 tablespoons BBQ sauce
Method:
Wash and paper dry the meat.
Mix all the ingredients and marinate the meat (I marinated the meat 4 hours before). Keep some marinate for later.
Set air fryer on Grill - 180°C, for 15 minutes.
Add meat to the air fryer basket and let it grill.
Turn meat, bast the meat with the remaining marinate and grill for 5 more minutes.
Chicken wings ingredients:
1kg chicken wings
5 tablespoons lemon & herb sauce
3 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
4 tablespoons chicken spice
1 tablespoon Moroccan rub
Method:
Add all the ingredients and marinate the chicken wings. Keep some marinate for later.
Set air fryer on Fry - 180°C, for 10 minutes
Place the wings in the air fryer basket and let them fry.
Turn wings, bast with the remaining marinate and air fry for another 10minutes.
1,2kg Boerewors
Method:
Divide wors into 3 and make mini braai wors circles then place them in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer on Grill- 190°C, 14 minutes, at 7 minutes turn wors and let it grill for the remaining 7 minutes.
Enjoy the meat platter and chakalaka with a side of your choice.
