This chicken dish is quick, easy, and so delicious! I used the best lemons from LemonGold®️, these lemons are so convenient as they as seedless, zesty, and juicy. The zest is added to coating and the juice is perfect for serving!
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breasts
½ Cup Cake Flour
½ Tsp Salt
¼ Tsp Black Pepper
½ Tsp Garlic Powder
¼ Tsp Onion Powder
1 Large Egg
½ Cup Breadcrumbs
Zest of 2 LemonGold®️ Lemons
Method:
Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound using a rolling pin until chicken breast has flattened.
In a bowl, combine the cake flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix until combined then set aside. In a second bowl, add the egg and whisk lightly and set aside. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs and LemonGold®️ Lemon zest, mix and set aside.
Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, dust of excess flour. Then coat the floured chicken in the egg. Then coat in the breadcrumbs until fully covered. Then set the chicken aside on a plate.
Refrigerate the coated chicken for at least 10 minutes. In the meantime, set your Vortex™️ Air Fryer to 200 C for 15 minutes, the air fryer will start to preheat.
Add in the coated chicken when the Vortex™️ Air Fryer indicates to “Add Food”. Turn the coated chicken over when the Vortex™️ Air Fryer indicates to “Turn Food”.
Remove from air fryer when the 15 minutes have elapsed, serve with wedges.
