Dulce De Leche Recipe
What you will need:
1 Tin Condensed Milk (385g)
Instant Pot Trivet
Water
Instructions:
1. Remove labelling from the tin of Condensed Milk. Open the tin and cover the opening tightly with foil.
2. Insert the Instant Pot trivet into your Instant Pot insert and place the tin of Condensed Milk onto the trivet.
3. Fill the Instant Pot insert with water until the water rises to about half up the tin of Condensed Milk.
4. Place the lid onto the Instant Pot and turn the vent to “Sealing”.
5. Set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook on High Pressure for 40 minutes then allow the pressure to release naturally.
6. Once pressure is released, open the lid, and remove the tin using oven mitts for safety.
7. Remove foil from the tin and leave to cool. Once cooled, remove from the tin and mix together to reincorporate the Dulce de Leche.
Dulce De Leche Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
385g Dulce de Leche
500ml Whipping Cream
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
½ Tsp Sea Salt
1. In a small bowl, add the Dulce de Leche and mix until smooth.
2. In a large bowl add the Whipping Cream and whip together until stiff peaks appear.
3. Add the Dulce de Leche, Vanilla Essence and Sea Salt to the Whipping Cream and fold together until smooth.
4. Add to a freezer-safe dish and freeze overnight.
Enjoy with waffles, malva pudding or even just by itself!
