This quick, easy and delicious recipe is full of flavour and perfect served as a main dish, appetizer or side.
Ingredients
6 to 8 Pieces of chicken (drumsticks and thighs)
4 tbsp Asian Korean soy and sesame glaze from woolworths
2 tbsp Sambel Oelek (add according to your taste - can be purchased from woolworths)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese chilli powder - can be purchased at any chinese supermarket)
1 crushed garlic clove
Chopped coriander
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Make two slits on each piece of chicken.
Season your chicken with salt, pepper and Shichimi Togarashi. Note not to add too much of salt, asian sauces already contain salt.
Add the rest of your marinade ingredients to a bowl and whisk.
Add your marinade to your chicken rubbing it all over untill well coated. Leave to marinate overnight or for at-least an hour.
Set your Vortex or Duo Crisp to air fry for 30 minutes on 165C.
Once preheated place your chicken all in one layer into your air fryer tray.
After 30 minutes add the rest of the remaining marinade onto the chicken and increase the temperature to 200C for 5 minutes.
Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander and toasted sesame seeds.
Note: You can add more or less of the above ingredients according to your taste.
